Birds of Paradise
RECRAFTED FROM FOOD WASTE
A first of its kind table top made out of upcycled food waste from Bird of Paradise's gelato kitchen.
Bird of Paradise’s new outlet in Mandai’s Birds Paradise is imbued with sustainable, conscious practices — which is where the heart of this collaboration began. By using more sustainable materials, we aim to inspire customers to re-look the value of waste, as well as nudge their behaviour to appreciate more upcycled materials and responsible consumption.

Maxi Coffee Bar
RECRAFTED FROM PLASTIC WASTE
A unique furniture project born out of a need for new furniture and a desire to do good with waste. Maxi needed new furniture due to a lack of seating in their limited cafe space - we saw this as an opportunity to create communal, compact, and modular furniture that not only solved their problem but also addressed the issue of HDPE plastic waste. The result is a project that not only serves a functional purpose but also makes a positive impact on the environment.
See this in person alongside Maxi's coffee at 6 Ann Siang Hill.
Bridgehouse, Tokyo
RECRAFTED FROM PLASTIC WASTE
For Bridgehouse's café in Daikanyama, Tokyo, we customized these tables in a neutral palette, complete with bespoke wooden legs to match the vintage, natural aesthetic of their café interiors and vintage clothing. The table surfaces appear all white and neutral from afar, but upon closer inspection, reveal a beautiful marble-like texture created from differing shades of white plastic waste.
Showcased at 1 Chome-13-5 Kamimeguro, Tokyo.
Fura
RECRAFTED FROM DISCARDED OYSTER SHELLS
At Fura, a pioneering drinking and dining destination committed to shaping the future of food through sustainability and creativity, we found the perfect partner for our project.
Together, we crafted custom coasters from discarded oyster shells, transforming waste into a dazzling array of shell flakes that created a unique landscape of pattern and texture. These unexpected materials echo Fura's innovative approach to food, where they use planet-friendly alternatives like insect proteins, cell-cultured milk, and coffee made from burdock root and hemp seeds.

Frankie & Ferns
RECRAFTED FROM DISCARDED OYSTER SHELLS
Frankie and Ferns, a hidden rooftop getaway in the bustling area of Holland Village, provided the perfect setting for this project. We designed menus featuring blue and yellow flakes against a white background, echoing the café's welcoming, light-filled space that feels like a home away from home.
In this collaboration, we tested new elements of our recycled plastic material, including printing techniques and logo applications, to create a unique and sustainable dining experience.
Discover their space at the fourth floor of 211 Holland Ave.
Wild Candle
UPCYCLED WINE GLASS BOTTLES
The !! Wild Candle was a true labour of love between three maker friends. Wildcard saved empty wine bottles formerly filled with that delicious juice, while we fashioned them into ready jars, accompanied with a coaster made from discarded oyster shells, where wax was hand-poured by A Thing of Sense.
Cherished bottles, turned into a candle, to bring warmth and light to your space for a long time.
Scent notes: amber, oakmoss + smoky hints of sage & green leaves — how we imagine a wild adventure to smell like, with perhaps a whiff of that memory from your favourite sip.

wildcard
RECRAFTED FROM EGGSHELLS
For Wildcard, an all-day coffee and wine bar in Singapore known for its relaxed atmosphere and community vibe, we crafted bespoke coasters from reused eggshells sourced from kitchen waste. These coasters formed a terrazzo-like pattern, adding a touch of elegance and sustainability to the space. This project beautifully combined Wildcard's community spirit and relaxation with our passion for transforming waste into artful, functional pieces.
Check them out and have a tipple at Wildcard, at Furama Riverfront, 405 Havelock Road.
Bridgehouse, Tokyo
RECRAFTED FROM PLASTIC WASTE
Bridgehouse Tokyo, nestled in the hip Daikanyama area of Japan, inspired our latest creation. We designed vintage-style bottles in a dark, mottled green color, perfectly capturing the café's cool, retro vibe. To complement these, we collaborated with a skilled woodworker to craft table legs, creating the ideal tops for the vintage café's outdoor seating. This project seamlessly blended classic aesthetics with modern craftsmanship, enhancing Bridgehouse Tokyo's unique charm.
Showcased at 1 Chome-13-5 Kamimeguro, Tokyo.
